If you've never paddled the Madeline Island lagoon, you've missed the part of the Island's natural beauty: sundews, pitcher plants, water lilies, turtles, ducks and other creatures.  A paddling experience is a must for everyone who visits the Island.  Learn about the places many visitors have found interesting - a maze with no special routing.  

All cottages have fully equipped kitchens with microwave ovens; linens and kitchen utensils are furnished. There are also charcoal grills on each cottage.

Canoe and and rowboat rentals for use in Big Bay Town lagoon - a special, unique and relaxing way to experience the quiet beauty of Madeline Island.

Calija
	A charming cottage located on Schoolhouse Rd. Built in 1983 and moved to present location in 1992.  This lodging contains kitchen/living room with wood burning stove, large screened porch with swing, oak floors, vaulted ceiling, bath with shower, two bedrooms (one with queen bed; one with two beds).

 

Brown Trout
	Renovated in 1998, two bedrooms (double beds), kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa, bath with shower, screened porch, beautiful sandy beach with fire ring.

 

Whitefish
	Renovated in 1997, 3 bedrooms, kitchen/living room with sleeper sofa, bath with shower, screened porch with swing, beautiful sandy beach with fire ring.
